Lemonsea Onomichi
There were some shops across the street but we did not check them out. There is a sweet art museum a walk north and very worth checking out. Most shops and restaurants are a 20 minute walk toward the train station and beyond.

Yutori
The room was wonderful and clean. But the pillows were very thin. You need to get softer, thicker pillows. Everything else was great. We will stay there again if we are ever back that way.

Vessel Hotel Fukuyama
Second time to stay here, it has been renovated, and the rooms are a lot nicer now. The included breakfast makes this place good value. It has expansive parking, also included in the price.

Fukuyama Oriental Hotel
Room is clean and new. Love the view with Shinkanen and part of the castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Close the station. The only downside is the relatively old design of the lobby

7 miles (12 kilometers) outside of the heart of Sensui Island, you can find the Candeo Hotels Fukuyama. Alternatively, the Fukuyama Oriental Hotel is approximately 8 miles (12 kilometers) away. You could also check out the rates and amenities at the Route-Inn Grantia Fukuyama Spa Resort or the Guest House Yadocurly - Hostel.
The larger Chugoku area is well worth discovering as well. Check out Chugoku's ruins, castles and old towns and also relish its beaches. Visitors and locals alike in this pocket of Japan enjoy snowboarding, skiing and mountain climbing.
50 miles (84 kilometers) away from Sensui Island, you can find Hiroshima, which is where you can visit Hiroshima Castle and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
